Field Data Collections – GIS Mapping Project

by | Apr 23, 2025 | News

April 23, 2025 (Hardwick, VT) – Hardwick Electric Department’s contractor will be in our service area to collect information to input into a database that will help our crew and office to better serve our customers. This program includes asset management, maintenance management, work management, outage management, load analysis/meter data management and much more! To get this running, they will have some experienced employees out in our service areas assessing our equipment and mapping out our lines/service areas so we can start utilizing this service.

What does this mean for you as an HED customer?

You may see some vehicles and people around viewing our poles, lines, structures, meters, etc. They may be carrying a tablet or phone inputting data. Their vehicles will have a small HED sticker on them (to let people know they are in fact working for us). This work can last up to two months, so you may see them more than once or in different areas.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office at 1-802-472-5201 or customerservice@hardwickelectric.com.
