HED’s 2025 Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) Discussion

On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, general manager Sarah Braese joined the Greensboro Energy Climate & Action Committee (ECAC) to discuss HED’s 2025 Integrated Resource Plan (IRP).  In addition to discussing grid modernization, capital improvement projects, and energy resource planning, the presentation also included an overview of programs and services offered to HED customers including rebates and incentives.  You can view the presentation here.

⚡REMINDER PLANNED SYSTEM OUTAGE TONIGHT 10/08 ⚡⚡ PLANNED SYSTEM OUTAGE – CRAFTSBURY & GREENSBORO ⚡ Hardwick Electric Department will be conducting planned system work beginning at midnight on Thursday, October 8th, with the outage expected to continue until approximately 3:00 AM on Friday, October 9th.The outage will impact the majority of Craftsbury customers and a small portion of Greensboro customers. 🔧 Why is this work necessary? Our crews will be repairing and replacing wire and poles as part of ongoing system improvements.
